It's Not Too Late

“The best time to plant a tree is ten years ago.
The second best time is now.” - Proverb

Last night I was talking to a friend who has a holiday home rental business. She has been busy doing her own research about how to get a higher ranking on Google - and is confused about whether to use Squarespace or Wordpress for her website. She’s also been investigating which systems to use on the back end because managing all of the feeder sites, such as booking.com Stayz and Airbnb is taking up too much time. She’d rather be focussing on creating the best possible experience for guests.

Sure, creating a holiday rental business can be fun. But there’s more to it than crafting pretty pictures and gaining a following on Instagram, although both of those elements are important, and can pay high dividends. I told her that all of these topics are covered in The Hosted Home Workshop, but she was worried that it was too late, and that she should have enrolled for the previous class. She wants results now before the busy summer period.

My response was that it’s never too late. Sara Tasker shared the great quote above recently, and it sums up this idea beautifully.

Learning is a continual process and wherever we are on our journey, we can always learn more. We can’t worry that we’re too far behind, or that it’s too late. What we learn today makes tomorrow better.

Besides, I said that this course offers strategies that she can put into play straight away, and get immediate results. And it will set her up well for next year. She will hit the ground running.

This post started out as a note to my friend, but I thought you might find it useful too.

Are you ready? Ticket sales for The Hosted Home Workshop close 11th October.
