What is Your Plan?

Sometimes the best question to ask yourself is not quite what you think. This is something I share with my students often.

One of my favourite ways to express this question is with these words by American poet Mary Oliver:

Tell me, what is it you plan
to do with your one wild
and precious life?

And so what is that answer for you?

Because the answer to that question answers so many more, such as where you want to live, the type of house to buy, how much you’re comfortable with spending on your furniture and decor…

Always start with the biggest question first, and that will help you answer all of the other questions that come up in a much easier way.

Life is simple, but we make it complicated.

What’s your plan?
